FAQs

How do I register my child at Educademy?

Registration is easy!  Fill out our online registration form, and one of our office team will be in touch to provide you with information and schedule a time to visit the centre for a tour.

How do I make it as easy as possible for my child to transition to Educademy?

You are encouraged to visit Educademy with your child as often as you can before your child starts. You and your family will meet all the staff and we will do everything we can to make your child’s transition to child care a positive experience. Please note that every child is different, some children integrate quickly, while others will take a few weeks.

What do I need to bring on my child’s first day?

We recommend that your child always has a change of clothes in their backpack. A pair of indoor shoes, water bottle, and emergency medication, if applicable. If your child needs diapers we recommend bringing a whole pack. Please label all items with your child's first name.

Will you give my child medication if required?

Yes, we will. The medication must be in the original bottle or package, labeled with the child's name, dosage, time, etc. Suppose your child may need emergency treatment such as an Epi-pen or inhaler. In that case, we will request that you fill out a Medical Action Plan along with a Medication form that we can follow in case the emergency medication is needed.
